Physiotherapy

If you have a musculoskeletal problem you can seek help without coming to your GP; please click here to view a short flow chart to check if the self-referral route is appropriate for you.

Many musculoskeletal problems can be safely managed independently.  You can view the physiotherapy self help leaflets and videos  by clicking on the appropriate area of the body here.

If despite self help you have an ongoing musculoskeletal problem you can seek help without coming to your GP; please click here to view a short flow chart to check which self-referral route is appropriate for you.

If you are over 18 years of age can refer yourself for telephone assessment to NHS Physio Advice Line (Dynamic Health) by telephone.  Please call 0300 555 0210 to speak to a senior Chartered Physiotherapist.  The advice Line is available Monday to Friday 8:15-5pm.   Please be aware telephone assessments take on average 20 minutes.

Improving Access to Psychological Treatment

Patients are able to self refer for psychological support around anxiety, depression or insomnia.

Sexual health

iCash offers information, advice, screening and treatment for sexual health, such as sexually transmitted infections (STI’s), pregnancy and termination advice, and onward referral to antenatal and termination services. Anyone can self refer to the service, regardless of age or gender, please click here for further information.
