Internal Renovations at the Surgery

Over the next three months, internal parts of the surgery will be refurbished.  This will include increasing the number of consulting rooms we have, and refurbishing a couple of the consulting rooms.  We will also be updating our waiting area four our patients.

The work will take place between 12 January 2026 and end of April 2026.

During the renovation work, which will take place in three phases, we will lose access to a couple of our consultation rooms and for a period of time our patient waiting area. In order to maintain a continuous service, we will be making some changes to how we work in order to minimise disruption to patients.  We will certainly do our very best to minimise the disruption over the coming period.

  • Your appointment may not be in the same room you usually go to.  Our clinicians will be moving around the building as different parts undergo renovation.
  • For a period of time we will have limited waiting area in the building, and if you have travelled to the surgery by car, you may be asked to wait in your car, and a member of the team will come out and collect you for your appointment.   We will let you know when you book your appointment if our waiting area is restricted.
  • The entrance you use to get to the consulting room may also change.  When this does happen we will keep you informed.

This work will allow us to upgrade some of our rooms and meet he latest infection prevention and control standards but will inevitably disrupt our day to day operations whilst the work is being done.

We are confident that the steps we have taken will minimise disruption to patients and allow us to continue to practice the same high quality of continuous care to patients of all ages. If for any reason you find this is not the case please tell a member of staff or ask to speak to our Practice Manager, Sam Sales and we will look into this further.

Thank you for your support and understanding whilst the renovations are completed.
