Dr Sharp qualified in 2010 from the University of Nottingham.  After doing several specialty jobs in the East Midlands, he moved to Cambridge in 2012 to complete his GP training.  He likes to work across the spectrum of general practice but has a particular interest in mental health, palliative care, paediatrics and medical education.

He is a GP Trainer and has undertaken research in palliative care at the University of Cambridge.​
